Key Account Manager, Macy's



Provide Account Management support of Macy’s including promotional planning to achieve Retail and Gross Budget reporting to Senior Key Account Director.



Responsibilities/Key Tasks


  • Support Senior Key Account Director in developing the business:
  • Retrieve and data analysis on all programming (Scent, Sampling, Catalog, Digital etc.) for ROI & Consumer buying anticipating PID needs as well as future planning recommendations  
  • Review C1 Reports identifying opportunities and assist in providing monthly shipping forecast
  • Review & Recommend PID/Brand Expansions/Stock Adjustments
  • Manage Door Stock Call Outs
  • Forecast Account Allocations (Promotional & Collateral) with Set up sheets for CPS Input
  • Distro High level PO#’s by door (GWP’s & Collateral)
  • Retrieve by Door Monthly Ranks and identify opportunities
  • Visual Week Goals & Daily Recaps
  • Monitor Weekly Selling & Stock needs on Permanent & Mega Installs
  • Liaison with Demand Planning (attend monthly meetings and review weekly Rubi Sales & Inventory).  Provide highlights, feedback & opportunities to Puig Planning by working on Base line PID document for all key accounts.
  • Partner with Macy’s planning team for forecasting projections, working as the liaison with internal planning team by providing those insights to create a recommendation.
  • Weekly OH & OO Reports for H.S. & .COM (Long Term all doors)
  • Create Portal Reports for specific strategies i.e. weekly Jumbo, Key PID’s etc. Reports
  • Partner with KAD & Field Teams on creating key door strategies for Macys including Segmentation in line with Macy’s Growth & Recapture Door Corporate strategies. Monitor growth and provide recommendations based on opportunities.
  • Work w/ Customer Service on PO tracking & Weekly ORV report
  • Prepare Weekly sales results including Top PID selling w/bullet points to management team & PTD ranks to LY
  • Bi-Weekly Meetings with Regionals to provide updates to Field team and gain insights on what’s happening in store
  • Touch Base with Macy’s Planner and Buyer as needed


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in working experience.
  • 4-5 years work experience in sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, most notably, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Major retailer experience required.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations.
  • Able to influence and gain buy-in by building trustworthy relationships with integrity.
  • Excellent in execution.
  • Flexibility with Schedule and travel as necessary
  • Systems Experience Preferred: Sales Adm. Reports, BW, SAP, G2N, HQ SAP (“Cube”), IT raw data, Planning reports, Macy’s Account Vendor Portal.
