The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented HR Manager to join our North America team. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to our corporate teams, supporting the development and execution of people strategies that align with business objectives. You will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture while maintaining the Puig standards and values. Key areas of focus include Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Talent Management, HR Analytics/Reporting, all within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

What you'll get to do

Strategic Business Partner
•    Partner with corporate leadership, providing guidance on HR matters including talent management, employee relations, and performance management
•    Advise managers on how to address team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive and productive work environment


Learning and Development
•    Work closely with business leaders to identify skill gaps and implement development programs that build leadership capabilities, enhance employee engagement, and support career progression
•    Provide coaching to managers on how to engage, develop, and provide constructive feedback to employees for optimal team performance and skill development
•    Analyze and proactively define talent needs and capabilities to build retention strategies
•    Support in the design and delivery of training programs to address identified skill gaps, improving the overall competency of employees
•    Oversee performance management cycles, offering guidance on goal setting, feedback processes, and performance reviews
•    Collaborate with global teams to implement global learning initiatives locally within North America


Employee Relations and Engagement
•    Address and resolve employee relations issues proactively, ensuring a positive work environment and effective conflict resolution
•    Manage the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans and provide guidance to and coaching to managers throughout the PIP process 
•    Conduct thorough investigations when needed and work toward fair, consistent resolutions to any employee concerns
•    Promote a culture of engagement, empowerment, and inclusion, valuing diversity and ensuring consistent, fair management practices


HR Analytics, Reporting, and Payroll
•    Create processes to utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights that support business decisions and improve HR practices
•    Report regularly on key HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
•    Partner with HR Generalist to ensure the integrity and accuracy of employee data and documentation for Payroll and HRIS systems
•    Regularly review and update HR policies to stay aligned with changing legal requirements and best practices


Leave of Absence Management
•    Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on the leave process and addressing any concerns
•    Partner with the Benefits team to ensure accurate leave-related benefits, including the continuation of pay, benefits eligibility, and return-to-work plans

We'd love to meet you if you have

•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fields preferred
•    5+ years of HR related experience with demonstrated knowledge of all core HR processes including employee relations, leadership development, talent and performance management, organization design, and succession planning
•    3+ years’ experience in handling employee relations
•    Demonstrated experience in leading HR initiatives and change management projects
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Experience in the Beauty, Wellness, or Hospitality industry is a plus
•    Ability to travel domestically as needed
