Demand Planning Director

 Lead the Sales & Operations planning process. To build an accurate Net Revenues forecast by gathering market intelligence data, working closely with Local and Global teams in order to allow product availability, high service levels and contributing to optimized global inventory levels. To follow up on the alignment between the forecast and budget, understanding any discrepancies. Work closely with the 3PL to ensure optimal service.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead S&OP process for USA and Canada.
  • Understand the market dynamics of seasonality, competitive activity, trends and sales objectives for NA market.
  • Ensure demand plan accuracy, consumption and timely forecasts to achieve financial plans.
  • Work with Supply Planning to adjust plans for opportunities and constraints based on analytical insights gained from different business units, trends, promos, launches, seasonal volume, and more.
  • Provide visibility on short and long term sales forecast to Global Demand Planning team.
  • Monitor and control KPI's: Forecast Accuracy, DIO TAM, Service Level.
  • Lead and develop North America Demand Planning team.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships between Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accuracy for all skus
  • Strong communication and change management skills to strengthen processes, forecasting, alignment and overall teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or four years of related work experience (plus any additional required experience)
  • 10-15 years’ of related experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Inventory Management
  • Strong business acumen
  • North America Market experience is a must
  • Beauty industry or CPG experience preferred.
  • Expert in Excel, Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Problem-solver who has demonstrated operational effectiveness, mitigation techniques, and flexibility.
  • Demonstrates high EQ, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • People management of 2+ direct reports
