What you'll get to do
Mission:
This role is pivotal in defining and driving the overall marketing strategy that will deliver the goals of the PUIG ITALY business through the management of a diversified portfolio in fragrance and beauty, specifically for the brands Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gautier and distributed brand Parfum & Beauté Hermès, through all consumer touchpoints, managing a large budget through all paid, earned and owned channels. The role reports to the PUIG ITALY GM and is a member of the Leadership Team of the PUIG ITALY affiliate.
This role drives innovation and disruption across categories and brands by leveraging a strategic mindset, digital marketing expertise, and a proven history of building business through brand equity. Whether managing widely distributed omnichannel brands, digital-first ones, this accomplished leader excels in setting vision and direction, inspiring their team through effective coaching and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver the Italian marketing strategy for the assigned portfolio in support of the affiliate's goals by brand including retail and net sales, net operating profit, value market share and ranks, meeting individual brand guidelines. Responsible for a multibrand strategy using all marketing levers.
- With the General Manager and the Italian Leadership Team, and in a strong collaboration with the Commercial Director, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic initiatives to drive the business by engaging key consumer target groups by brand, category and channel. He is the expert of the local consumer and can approach our consumer with a 360 holistic consumer strategy.
- Oversee and manage the P&L of the entire brand portfolio, driving topline and bottom-line profitability for each individual brand and the entire portfolio.
- Define and execute distinct and innovative marketing calendars and plans for our established PUIG brands, for the relevant channels and with an omnichannel approach.
- Oversee the alignment and integration of the brands' marketing calendar and trade marketing activities, managing the trade marketing calendar by driving portfolio priorities through effective in-store activations. Deliver all temporary VM requirements for the brands
- Oversee the alignment and integration of the brands' marketing calendar and consumer engagement activities across all media and touch points delivering an integrated 360 consumer journey through paid, earned and owned, with a focus on Advocacy, Media, Digital & Influencer Marketing, PR and events.
- Specifically, develop full funnel 360 paid, earned and owned media strategy, driving innovation and establishing new relevant partnerships to further grow brand affinity and relevance. Lead the brand social media and influencer strategy as an integra part of this approach and accelerate online business development and the evolution of media strategy in the digital environment
- Drive innovation in education, digitalizing the experience for both internal and external audiences.
- Drive performance-based marketing, developing capabilities, implementing test & learn mindset to inform strategic planning and execution.
- Drive consumer insight strategy by delivering actionable insight to the business from ad hoc research and panel data.
- Being capable of influencing Global Brand and Regional team (Barcelona & Paris), bringing forward the local vision and priorities of the Italian team.
- Supervision and management of a large multifunctional team

Experience:
- Approximately 10 years of Brand Marketing, Category Management and operational marketing in prestige/luxury/premium/niche Brands within industries in Fragrances/ Cosmetics/ Luxury Categories, with demonstrated career progression and leadership.
- Experience in a structured multinational company, with proven experience in navigating an internal matrix of Global and Regional stakeholders.
- Digital driven marketing expert in media management, digital marketing and communication, marketing strategic planning & consumer insight, brand development and retail consumer events, in the fragrances and cosmetics universes.
- Strategic thinking and pragmatic leader with exceptional analytical skills and an ability to generate actionable insight from complex data.
- Leadership, managerial experience and ability to interact in a matrix organisation (Market/ Brands/ Europe HQ).
- Sales or Trade Marketing proven experience is a plus.
- International experience is a plus
Languages:
- English is a must, Italian knowledge is preferred and appreciated. Other languages will be considered a plus.
