Marketing Brand Manager

Reporting To: Marketing and Retail Director, Travel Retail Americas

 

Mission:
As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy of the Carolina Herrera brand as a main priority, plus others brands as required, in order to achieve the budgeted objectives in terms of Value Market Share and Net Revenues.  

 

Key Functions & Responsibilities


Be the brand ambassador:
•    On-going contact with global head office teams to gain a solid understanding of brand vision and strategy and identify the most successful ways to tailor it for the TRA market.
•    Clearly convey brand vision and work collaboratively with the TRA cross functional teams for successful implementation of the TRA marketing plans and strategic priorities.
•    Be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization and able to develop strong collaborative working relationships both internally and externally.
 
Developing marketing mixes from ideas to launch:
•    Lead local marketing mix planning, development and implementation, in line with brand vision and objectives. Responsible for all day-to-day operational management of the brands.
•    Implement new product launches and strive to maintain growth on core business pillar products, in alignment with the overall brand strategy.
•    Manage product launch and new initiatives from forecast to retail implementation.
•    Maintain and update marketing plans on an on-going basis. Regularly communicate brand plans to cross functional teams.
•    Lead marketing plan presentation to internal team, and less frequently, to retailers.
•    Ensure presentations for new product launches and promotions are 100% tailored to the audience, and delivered in a dynamic, clear and motivational manner.
•    Take a wide, strategic view of all responsibilities and projects, conscious of implications for other departments and proactive in aligning and engaging all in the vision, clarifying requirements of others ahead of time.
•    A strong knowledge of the details of all brand dynamics, sales, objectives, KPIs and all marketing actions i.e. promotions, sampling activities etc.
 
Monitoring budget, forecast and sales:
•    Establish/manage brand budgets in line financial objectives.
•    Work closely with the Demand Planning and Commercial teams to ensure forecast accuracy and stock availability.
•    Evaluate sales performance at both sell-out and sell-in level, working with the relevant departments on action plans.
•    Partner with Sales and Retail teams to maximize sell-out:
•    Work closely with the Commercial and Retail teams to propose and deliver tailored trade marketing plans based on specific retailer strategies.
•    2 field visits per year to discover the market and monitor activity out in store with a pro-active reporting: competition launches, etc.
•    Cross functional role: Media.
•    The Brand Manager will be fully responsible for the media investment.


Requirements:
•    4 years’ experience in Marketing positions in the Luxury industry, preferably in Travel Retail.
•    Experience in a similar role.
•    Digital experience and knowledge is required
•    Experience with travel retail market is an advantage
•    Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Management or similar.
•    Master’s degree is a plus.
•    Excellent command of Spanish and English. French and Portuguese are a plus.
