Commercial Area Manager - Latam Distributors

Mission:
Define and Execute Plans to achieve budgeted objectives define for Latin America Distributors accounts in terms of market share, net revenues, profit and working capital. The successful candidate must have passion & determination to drive opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage Distributors Accounts in the assigned countries, evaluate current business situation/environment and drive the implementation of the defined strategy to achieve brand and business objectives.
  • Determine, negotiate, and follow up on distribution contracts, price structures, distributor’s structure and financial KPI’s. 
  • Designate and monitor budget values per country and brand, by closely following sell-out figures, value market share, net revenues, wholesale, inventory levels, A&P values and extra coop. definition, as well as marketing contribution per distributor and per brand. Ensure accuracy on the commercial financial reporting.
  • Define priorities in line with regional guidelines and distributor´s agreement for the following:  PRICE: Negotiate RSP based on internal guidelines.  DISTRIBUTION: Monitor distribution policy by brand, channel, and key accounts.  A&P: Negotiate launch/activity Calendar in coordination with regional marketing guidelines. OMNICHANEL: Coordinate with internal teams all POS & Digital strategy and execution.
  • Lead Order to Cash Process with Distributors.
  • Conduct proper Risk Sales Management for markets under supervision.
  • Audit Distributor´s execution to guarantee compliance to set agreements.
  • Acquire and analyze market intelligence information.
  • Set up and drive cross-functional interaction between retailer and Puig team.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of sales/account management and/or business development experience.
  • Experience in Latin America Markets and/or Luxury and/or Beauty industry is an advantage.
  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or Business-related field.  Masters degree will be considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong mastery of Excel and Power Point.
  • Able to build strong relationships with team members and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. 
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ambitious, energetic and results driven.
  • High Organization, time management and priority setting skills.
  • Analytical skills to assess situations, identify opportunities and propose solutions. 
  • Ability to prepare and use business analytics to build robust commercial plans and seize business opportunities.
