Independent Account Manager

Responsibilities/Key Tasks:


Overall Management

  • Setting (with Commercial Director) and hitting targetted Sell In overall
  • Fulfilling all management responsibilities of the third party, building positive relations and driving to deliver
  • Puig UK office liason and collaboration in order to fullfill role - Marketing, Admin, Commercial Director, Training
  • Attending and prepping for Planning Meetings, Sales Meetings and Marketing presentations to keep up to speed with animations
  • Providing all information required in planning grids and for production of Independents sell in and marketing presentations for own accounts for third party use
  • Planning and control of allocations for Independents
  • Gift set allocation and co-ordination for Independents
  • COOP budget, planning and management
  • Store audit planning and collation for 'opening and closing' doors
  • Strategic assesment of accounts/doors. Feeding back on growth potential/presentation/location
  • Attend all appropriate HO events
  • Liasion with Marketing and Training to support your function
  • Liasion with Customer Service team in Barcelona as on going as required
  • Attend appropriate retailer events as required


Third Party Management

  • NS target setting, review and measurement
  • KPIs setting, review and measurement ( TBC examples to consider, visit cycles, remote sales, display, position/adjacencies, space, customer satisaction)
  • Monthly reviews with Third Party
  • Quarterly Review with Commercial Director
  • Relationship Building


Sales (Self)

  • Acheivement of Sales targets for  own accounts
  • Delivery of defined display standards by brand and KPIs
  • Relationship building own accounts
  • Carry out in store training with store BC's



General Administration:

  • Processing of own admin
  • General Support to Commercial Director re Independents business
  • Raising Purchase Orders as required



Data Support and Reporting

  • Producing sales reports and target tracking - SAP/BW reports as required
  • Presentations as required
