Junior HR Business Partner (12 month FTC)

Mission

 

Based in Puig’s London office you will form an integral part of the UK HR team. In this role, you will gain a broad range of industry experience across key HR disciplines, not limited to, Talent acquisition, Employee Relations, Employer Branding, Payroll and Benefits and Organisational Planning. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is excited by the prospect of gaining exposure to the full spectrum of the Puig HR operation within the UK. This role will also play in pivotal part in the attraction, onboarding, development and deployment of Puig’s greatest asset - its people.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support Recruitment for our Retail and Head Office Teams: advertising, tracking, screening and maintaining our internal systems.
  • HR administration: for starters / leavers, transfers, maternity leave and monitoring of probation periods, ensuring action and production of documentation within agreed time frames.
  • HR administration: work on the full range of bespoke letters and presentations, maintaining organisational charts, employee files, support with talent meetings and employee relations hearings, as required.
  • Employee Relations: support the HR Business Partners with Employee Relation cases and note taking.
  • Project work: support with ad-hoc project work, such as Employer Branding.
  • Provide support to key stakeholders in the business with performance management and absence management.
  • Maintain Employee Files in line with Data Protection Act.
  • Ensure good knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Key requirements

 

  • You can provide documentation to confirm you have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • You have 1-2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced HR Team.
  • You enjoy working in a HR Team! What we do is unique, challenging and rewarding and you want this to be your career.
  • You have a keen interest and passion for recruitment, employee relations and / or employer branding and possibly you are interested in this becoming your specialist subject.
  • You will be able demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ideally you also have an interest in the Beauty and Fragrance industry, but this is not a deal breaker.
  • You have personal drive and enthusiasm that makes you stand out from the crowd.
