We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Digital Design Manager to join our in-house Brand, Creative & Social team. Reporting to the Senior Creative & Digital Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the design and user experience of our internal and external digital platforms. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, cohesive, and accessible digital experiences that support performance, customer engagement, and brand excellence.

This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how customers interact with our digital touchpoints, contributing to the evolution of our design standards, enhancing our user interfaces, and elevating the overall customer journey. You will collaborate closely with teams across the business, helping to define best practices in both UX and visual design.

You will contribute to how the world experiences Dr. Sturm through digital design that blends visual innovation, technical precision, and strategic science-led storytelling.

What you'll get to do

 

  • Develop intuitive layouts, reusable components, and consistent visual styles across all digital platforms such as the Dr. Sturm website, E-tailer websites, CRM, Games, Digital First Events and Campaigns.
  • Manage the Digital Designer, including their workload, deadlines, and output quality, while providing ongoing mentorship, training, and performance reviews to support their development.
  • Effectively manage all CRM designs and execution.
  • Manage and optimise our e-commerce page builder platform (Shogun), partnering with the eCommerce team and external agencies to drive efficiency, improve workflows, and strengthen collaboration.
  • Work in partnership with the Senior Creative and Digital Manager to maintain strong, cohesive digital executions of campaign identities consistent with all other brand touchpoints.
  • Lead UX and design enhancements informed by user insights, analytics, and qualitative feedback.
  • Ensure all digital designs meet accessibility standards and perform effectively across devices and platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and deliver creative assets for all digital channels, ensuring briefs are executed to a high standard.
  • Maintain strong creative and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Work closely with CRM, eCommerce, and Marketing teams to interpret briefs and deliver creative that supports business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Content Manager to plan and brief ongoing content updates that keep the website current and dynamic.
  • Build a strong understanding of Digital Design principles.

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Experience in digital design marketing for the skincare and luxury industries.
  • Expertise in Figma and the Adobe suite – particularly Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with web building platform mandatory. Experience using Shogun is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS.
  • An excellent eye for typography, layout, and brand detail.
  • High level organisation, self-motivation, and are comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and can take feedback and contribute to creative discussions.
  • A passion for staying all the latest design trends, techniques and tools in the digital world.
