The Opportunity

To complete our Travel Retail Europe department, we are looking for a TRE Finance Controller. This position will report to the TRE Finance Manager.

What you'll get to do

  • Participation in budget & Forecast in link with TR Europe Finance manager and with inputs from HQ (calendar, deadlines, guidelines,…)
  • Preparation of templates and presentations related to budget /forecast/ Capex
  • Business Partner to Prestige Marketing Director & Niche Marketing Director
  • Management of monthly ends Closing of A&P 
  • Handling production of the monthly reporting linked to his/ her perimeter (Media, Animation, & POSM …)
  • Following up of Media and promotional budget and analyzing the investment in close collaboration with her interlocutors 
  • Implementing return on investments and analysis (Capex, Media, Temporary animations….)
  • Execution of Adhoc studies on retail and Marketing initiatives and factors affecting performance 
  • Assessing Risk & Opportunities situations
  • Liaison with Accounting Department and ensuring accounting norms and internal audit are well respected

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance & accounting or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred
  • Experience:  5 years of experience in finance, including at least 3 years in a hands-on controllership role, ideally B to C environment
  • Technical: good knowledge of General Accounting, Knowledge of IFRS is a plus . 
  • ERP & Reporting Systems: Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft office (Exel & PPT), Experience SAP / Business Intelligence (BW & Analysis for Excel ) is a plus. 
  • Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mind with excellent interpersonal communication skills, result oriented and problem-solving capability.
