We are delighted to announce we have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced H-Beauty Brand Ambassador, with our Carolina Herrera Beauty Brand. The account is brand new and will be launching in Edinburgh at St James Quarter, and we are looking for two Brand Ambassadors that have excellent make-up and artistry skills and knowledge.

The Carolina Herrera Beauty, Brand Ambassador is responsible for representing Puig and Carolina Herrera in our stores and they will form the connection between the Carolina Herrera Brand and our Customers. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. To be successful in this role you will deliver a unique experience every time to our customers, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.

You must have a passion for make-up and fragrances and have a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets. You must be confident in educating customers on the latest make-up products and colours and helping to promote brand awareness through in-store events and creating traffic.


Brand & Category Knowledge

  • Have a full understanding of all Carolina Herrera Beauty products and services
  • Ensure you are consistently following the Carolina Herrera service protocols
  • Monitor key line products daily and ensure they achieve the business target mix
  • Be aware of competitor’s products / activity and have a good working knowledge of account performance in relation to the Department’s performance
  • Have a detailed knowledge and awareness of the luxury Make-up and luxury fragrance industry
  • Able to offer a high level of expertise of personalised make-up techniques and fragrance service
  • Ability to advise on fragrance expertise and make-up application techniques
  • Have a strong commercial awareness of industry activity and latest trends / developments and always communicate these updates to your Line Manager and the Education Manager.


Execute Business & Operations

  • Exemplify all Carolina Herrera Principles Brand Values
  • Challenged with delivering personal targets and key performance indicator (KPI) targets
  • Complete all personal paperwork accurately, legibly and on time
  • Understand and follow the Store rules and regulations
  • Monitor stock levels, following retailer guidelines and raising availability concerns with your Line Manager
  • Offer creative ideas to generate new business; with focus on product launches and key calendar dates
  • Build a loyal personal client base by constantly acquiring new customers and develop an on-going professional relationship with them
  • Communicate regularly with personal clients through telephone, e-mail and Corporate social media tools, regarding in-store events, merchandise requests, sales follow-up and birthdays, etc.
  • Achieve Mystery Shopping scores, in line with the Company KPIs, always striving for excellence
  • Attend all Company and externally provided training interventions to ensure you are always developing your skills and knowledge, in-line with the latest industry techniques
  • Perform other duties, as assigned


Drive Selling Process / Techniques

  • Exceed all sales and service goals and targets
  • Deliver luxury service at all times, inviting customers back for a return appointment
  • Pro-actively seek opportunities and promote in-store events to maximise sales
  • Make appropriate, personalised product and sample recommendations
  • Have a strong focus on link selling and the recruitment of new customers
  • Use confident communication and presentation skills when dealing with customers

  • Role Model the grooming guidelines to promote the brand image
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work area and adhere to hygiene rules
  • Be involved in external demonstrations / events
  • Conduct business to business networking – building a new customer base

Ideal candidate

  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience delivering Make-up / Artistry, within a luxury retail environment
  • Prior retail sales experience within Make-up and Luxury fragrance is essential
  • White glove service experience required
  • Highly collaborative; working with and through others in a team-oriented environment
  • Passionate about the luxury industry make-up and fragrances



  • Fluent written and spoken English skills required.
  • Other languages desirable.



  • Various educational backgrounds considered.
