LIFESTYLE BRAND MANAGER

 

ROLE DEFINITION

 

Location: PUIG in Mexico

Mission:

Join our renowned fragrance brands and be an active player in the implementation of launches & promotions that will help achieve the company’s overall growth expectations and deliver continuous innovation and excitement into the fragrance category.

Under the responsibility of a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible of several Lifestyle Brands’ strategy & growth on the Mexican Market. As Brand Manager, you will work very closely with local cross-functional teams, retailers and external agencies to drive success on your portfolio and expand the fragrance category. This role has exposure to the international brands development, digital and communications teams with the opportunity to influence on new projects. You should be adept at working at all levels of seniority with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities / Key Tasks

 

  • Develop marketing mix from ideas to launch, for brands under responsibility.
  • Manage product launch and new initiatives from forecast through retail and to digital, enhancing consumer experience.
  • Plan and co-execute our strong POS “Always On” consumer activation plans.
  • On-going contact with global headquarters teams to gain a solid understanding of brand vision and strategy and identify the successful ways to tailor it to the Mexican market.
  • Work closely with the Trade, Commercial and Retail teams to deliver custom-made plans for each retailer to accomplish Sell Out objectives.
  • Work closely with the Demand Planning and Commercial teams to ensure forecast accuracy and stock availability.
  • Partner with PR /Digital team and Media Agency to enhance our brands’ awareness.
  • Control and follow the P&L per brand, including: A&P, net revenues and profitability, proposing corrective actions when necessary to accomplish objectives.
  • Run brand analysis for all business reviews (monthly/bi monthly/ad hoc/brand review).
  • Prepare and deliver several presentations. Including: sales meetings, sales force motivation, retailer presentations and reports to the International Development and Brand teams in headquarters.
  • Regular field visits to monitor activity out in store with a pro-active reporting.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the Beauty Industry or Retail.
  • Knowledge of Department Stores dynamics, experience on channel development is a plus
  • Previous experience working with consumer data is a plus
  •  

Skills:

  • Overall knowledge of marketing mix including portfolio management, visual merchandising, training, media, PR.
  • Sensitivity to beauty industry (perfumes, skin care, cosmetics)
  • Highly organized with prioritization skills and good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

 

Education: 

  • University degree (preferably a Major in Marketing or Business Administration)
  • Digital knowledge is highly valued
  • Microsoft Office management (Outlook, Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint)

 

Languages:

  • Spanish (fluent)
  • English (working proficiency)
