The Opportunity

To lead our efforts in embedding ESG initiatives across our operations in fashion and drive the development and implementation of sustainable practices that align with our corporate values and industry standards. This position could be located in our offices in Barcelona or in Paris.

What you'll get to do

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive ESG strategy that aligns with the company values and our 2030 ESG agenda.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (five fashion houses, plus corporate services), suppliers, and external partners to promote sustainable practices and ensure compliance with ESG standards and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential ESG-related risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Policy Advocacy: Monitor industry trends and regulations (legislation and timeframe applicability) related to sustainability, advocating for best practices within the organization and ensuring compliance.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop training programs to raise awareness and educate employees about ESG principles and practices.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of ESG initiatives and report progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, specifically on supplier evaluations, sustainable materials, and certifications.

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility within the fashion industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful ESG strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of fashion industry challenges.
