The Opportunity

 

The Global Inventory Analyst oversees the projection, analysis, and tracking of stock levels in different distribution hubs. This position guarantees that products are available while reducing surplus inventory. 
The analyst works together with demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, finance, and local markets to create and implement inventory plans that align with business goals and business activities.

What you'll get to do

 

  • Create and uphold predictions for stock levels, considering expected demand, seasonal trends, and limitations in the supply chain.
  • Monitor global inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and safety stock policies across all locations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks of overstocking, understocking, or stock obsolescence. 
  • Analyze inventory trends and key performance metrics such as turnover rates, fill rates, and stock aging.
  • Generate and maintain dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work together with the teams responsible for demand, production, and procurement to ensure inventory levels match sales predictions.
  • Actively collaborate in the global budget creation for the upcoming year.  
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and apply effective methods.
  • Work on continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analysis, or a similar role (preferably in a global setting).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and inventory management software.
  • Mandatory expertise in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.) 
  • Proficiency in English. 
  • Finance knowledge is a plus.
