The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity that will help you develop your professional skills while getting a complete overview of our business, our products and the best category innovations. You will be able to experience different functions and brands within our Retail Activation department as well as understanding how these interact and work with the rest of the company. The main mission of the role, reporting to the Retail Activatin Manager, will be to support all trade marketing activities for the channel/category/customers/brands assigned, in line with the Marketing strategy. You will act as the contact point/person between Marketing department, Point of Sales team, and Sales teams to ensure the achievement of sales and budget objectives.
The position will be developed over a year path, during these months you will work on different assignments, experiencing new challenges and providing value to our business from the very beginning. This is an exciting role for a marketer with strong entrepreneurial spirit and who can manage projects as well as stakeholder engagement throughout the process, while working with a great cross-functional team as well external agencies.
What you'll get to do
Develop and ensure implementation of the trade promotion activities.
• Assists Trade Development manager on daily requests follow-up and fulfilment (POS materials, brand guidelines, visuals, …)
• Relationship with internal departments (marketing, sales and retail) to ensure the correct execution with the availability of materials on time.
• Prepare presentation with a summary and analysis of promotional activities per customer.
• Supports the translation of the brands marketing strategy to a trade marketing plan driving brand awareness and boosting sell-out across customers andchannels: ideation, planning & budgeting, production and implementation of all in store activities, including temporary point of sales materials and promotionalactivities.
• Supports the trade marketing plans across customers/channels owning responsibility for the development, execution and performance of all programs designedto increase presence and ultimate take-away.
• Sales: Collaborates with sales teams to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present the brands, the products and the marketing initiatives totheir customers. Provides the necessary material, analytics and information to ensure efficiency in negotiations with key accounts.
• Customers: Supports the Trade Plan, launches and innovations, as well as negotiation of spaces, to define the proposals that best fit the needs of the client.
• Marketing: Supports the delivery of marketing materials and content to our customers and requires to marketing teams any specific materials that might supportthe trade development strategy.
• Suppliers: Supports the temporary point of sales material (including budget, logistics, distribution, assortment…) by finding the most efficient solutions in terms ofquality, quantity and costs.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Operational Marketing support roles
- Education: Bachelor/ Master in Business or similar, finished within the last three years
- Languages: English and Spanish are a must, written and spoken (both of them)
- No previous "contrato de practicas or 420 modality contract" in Spain.
