The Opportunity
We are looking for a Brand Manager, reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role is for the daily coordination of all activities related to the development and execution of the operational marketing program for the whole portfolio of the brand in Iberia.
What you´ll get to do
MARKETING PLANS
• Responsible of protecting and driving the brand image of managing the brand 360 launches and animation calendars aiming at growing all channels
• Proactively anticipating gaps in the plan which cannot be fulfilled by launches and proposing programs to activate the brands both via ATL and BTL
• Ensure implementation and efficiency of ATL and BTL actions at market level
• Pitch to retailers category expansion opportunities within the portfolio
• Provide monthly reports locally and globally on net revenues sales, sell out sales and competitor analysis performance in the market
• Build a brand strategy in line with Puig Iberia initiatives taking into account channel strategy, ATL and BTL investment in collaboration with Marketing Manager
• Lead and influence key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation of agreed plans and initiatives.
• Develop and deliver strategy presentations to key accounts and at sales conferences
• Assist the sales team with in-store tools (GWP, samples, POSM) to support sell through
• Lead and train Marketing Graduate, devising a clear roadmap of goals and responsibilities
BUDGETING
• Build budget for brand portfolio to ensure strong execution of brand plans in line with business KPIs
• Monitor and track monthly brand spends, ensuring all plans fit within approved budgets
• Follow up and control of Penalties
FORECAST
• Support annual forecasting (CPS) of novelties in collaboration with the Commercial & Operation teams.
• Build forecast planners with performance benchmarking with past launches
• Setting and implementation of launch guidelines, both global and regional
• Alignment to A&P, in consultation with the Marketing Manager
• Estimation of prices based on global indicators
• Forecast marketing POSM in collaboration with retail activation teams
• Submit exception management requirements to HQ when forecasts changes required
• Work closely with operations team ensuring all forecasts are delivered on time, in full
MEDIA MANAGEMENT
• Lead media planning in collaboration with the Media team & Marketing Manager, adapting PUIG global media strategies to fit regional market realities.
• Working directly with local media agency on media campaign implementation; ensuring alignment with global to build and create top of mind brands
• Track and manage media invoices to remain within budget
PUBLIC RELATIONS
• Lead PR plan & strategies with Marketing Manager and PR team
• Closely work with the PR team to help implement best in class activations
PRICING
• Support with pricing analysis and recommendation for assigned brand
• Update price lists in the pricing portal after completion
We´d love to meet you if you have
• Solid experience in a brand management, category management or similar level marketing role (minimum 3 years)
• Luxury / FMCG / Cosmetic background highly regarded
• Experience working within retail
• Education: Degree holder in Marketing / Business Administration
• Languages: English & Spanish are a must
