The Opportunity

The Store Makeup Artist Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of Makeup Artists in various stores across Spain and Portugal, ensuring operational efficiency in each store, maintaining high standards of customer service, and achieving established sales targets.

What you'll get to do

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team of makeup artists in the assigned stores.
  • Define and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage in each store.
  • Set individual and team goals and continuously monitor their performance.

Store Operational Management:

  • Supervise daily store operations, ensuring quality and service standards are maintained.
  • Ensure proper inventory management, including receiving, storing, and replenishing products.
  • Guarantee that stores comply with health, safety, and local regulations.

Staff Development and Training:

  • Develop and coordinate ongoing training programs for the makeup artists and sales staff.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions on new makeup techniques and product launches.
  • Collaborate with the brand trainer.
  • Accompany and support new employees during their onboarding process, facilitating their integration into the team.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure an excellent customer experience in all stores, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Effectively and promptly resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Recruitment Participation:

  • Collaborate in the selection and interview process for new makeup artists and sales staff.
  • Assist in identifying talent and making hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate and participate in the onboarding of new employees.

Public Relations and Promotion:

  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Represent the company at events and public relations activities.
  • Foster relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly reports on store performance and the makeup artist team.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Present detailed reports to management on progress and areas for improvement.
     

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Previous experience in management roles in retail and team coordination, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics sector.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and team management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques and beauty products.
  • Availability to travel regularly within Spain and Portugal.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • High proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
