The Opportunity

The Iberia Controller is a key business partnering role. Working closely with multiple teams within the Iberia subsidiary to deliver the business plans, reporting to the Iber Finance Director.The role has a combination of financial accounting tasks but also commercial finance business partnering and value-added elements.

What you´ll get to do

•    Understand accounting principles, complete monthly financial statements (P&L) 
•    Work with internal accounting teams to ensure all reporting is done accurately and swiftly post period end, ensuring accuracy of monthly finance reports
•    Send monthly P&L reports to the key business partners analysing profitability per store and channel, indicating key variations with budget and prior year
•    Provide support for analysing promotional strategies, analyse ROI of key launches where relevant and uplift in performance from key initiatives
•    Lead the rolling forecast process and working closely with various internal teams to manage investment budgets
•    Working closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure the Group Internal Control Policies and Procedures are followed, including working with External auditors;
•    Controlling and monitoring all areas of finance and highlighting to management any risks and opportunities. 
•    Ad hoc projects, financial reporting and analysis
•    Ability to produce information to thigh timescales with good attention to detail
 

We´d love to meet you if you have

•    Experience: 5-10 years in commercial finance and/or retail finance. Preferably Lux/Beauty sector
•    Education: University Degree (Economics, Business Administration)
•    Languages: Fluent English/Spanish
•    Competencies: Analytical and synthesis skills in creative environments, discretion and confidentiality on job content. Accountability. Service Orientation. Efficiency/Simplicity solution provider. Teamwork and cooperation mindset. Autonomous, rigorous and proactive.
•    Specific Knowledge required: Microsoft tools. Digital Business KPIs. SAP.
