Global Retail Design - Executive

Location: Barcelona 


Mission:  
Manage and design projects of spaces "shop in shop" in wholesale environment coordinating our portfolio of luxury fragrance brands coordinating brands guidelines, space requirements and local market needs.


Responsibilities/ Key Tasks:
•    Understand market space requirement in terms of global space distribution and by brand; develop and manage layout proposals for brands and markets. Create schematic designs—plus sketches and elevations as needed— for all new retail locations and coordinate review with internal teams.
•    Design together with the brands, the space fixtures distribution and details; coordinate and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
•    Develop the project keeping the deadlines and respecting planning.
•    Fluent and efficient interaction with all parties (brands and markets); independently lead projects and manage key stakeholders, internally and externally
•    Schedule freight and installations for each site with agency partner and local team if required
•    Manage full retail team deliverables within set timelines and budgets
•    Manage the flow of project information between all stakeholders, including the tenant, leasing, development & design through regular meetings and written communications.
•    Identify and resolve issues that can adversely impact project schedules, costs, or design integrity
•    Helping into the CMS platform development by taking part of the definition process with all brands involved and the developer. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
Experience:
Backed by 3–5 years professional experience in a similar role for retail
•    Equipped with a degree in architecture or interior design
•    Highly skilled in AutoCAD
•    Proficient in Microsoft and Google suites
•    A self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and on tight timelines
•    An organizational powerhouse who can prioritize work and juggle responsibilities
•    An excellent communicator, both verbally and visually
•    Experienced in working with cross functional teams within & outside of the company, including, leasing, development, design & construction teams or practices
•    A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post project review
•    Deep interest in beauty or luxury category; previous experience in the luxury sector would be highly appreciated
Education:
A professional qualification in one of the following: Construction, Project Management, Architecture or Space design
Languages:
•    English and French, proficiency working level
•    Spanish, will be considered as a plus
