
Global Demand Planning Manager

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to drive and develop the Global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for a growing cosmetic brand. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate global forecasts to optimize inventory levels and balancing service levels with cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will consolidate and challenge forecasts from all markets, identify risks and opportunities vs. budget, and ensure alignment between planning functions and business objectives.
What you'll get to do
Forecasting & Demand Planning Control
- Develop and refine demand forecasts for Rest of the World (ROW markets), combining historical data with market intelligence.
- Challenge and validate global forecasts by identifying deviations vs. prior months and budget, working closely with Local Demand Planners to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure optimal sizing and phasing of new launches and promotional items, benchmarking against brand expectations.
Cross-functional Communication & Leadership
- Act as a key liaison between Global and our Local Demand Planning teams, fostering alignment and continuous feedback.
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, and other Operation teams teams to ensure business and demand planning synchronization.
Lead the Global Sales & Operations Planning Process
- Oversee and coordinate global forecasting for launches and promotional items.
- Identify major deviations in forecasts vs. budget, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
- Provide strategic inputs to the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Meeting.
- Lead the Global Sales & Operations Meeting, collaborating with Global Brands, Finance, and Supply Planning to present insights on service levels, forecast accuracy, sales vs. budget, and stock management.

Experience:
- 5+ years as a Demand Planner is a must, also experience in other Supply Chain & Finance roles will be a plus.
- Experience in the cosmetics industry is highly valuable.
Education:
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluent English and Spanish (French is a plus).

- Ability to aggregate and orchestrate demand, ensuring follow-up and alignment between global and local forecasts in a monthly basis.

- Experience working in a multinational, multicultural environment, effectively collaborating across diverse teams and markets.
- Ability to deliver on time in full (OTIF) in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise in demand planning tools such as SAP, SAP IBP, JDA, APO, or similar systems.
