E-Commerce Manager - Dries Van Noten

Location: Paris (or Antwerp)



After more than 30 years in the fashion industry, Dries Van Noten stands out as a cult, singular, and highly successful fashion house celebrated for its luxury ready-to-wear collections, and known for doing the unexpected while remaining true to its Flemish heritage. The brand is about to embark on an ambitious digital acceleration to further support the next chapters of its growth.



We are looking for an E-Commerce Manager to lead the development, launch and run of the ecommerce website of Dries Van Noten (Fashion & Beauty). In this entrepreneurial position reporting to the Digital Director, you will play a key role in the digital acceleration of the brand by building and managing the cornerstone of its future digital ecosystem. Your first mission will be to develop a best-in-class ecommerce website that will fully express the rich brand DNA ensure its timely launch.


New Ecommerce website

  • Refine the site strategy, the business case for the website, understanding the brand strategic objectives and the competitive environment
  • Define a compelling shopping value proposition and a differentiating site experience that expresses the brand values
  • Define the roadmap and requirements for the website, accounting the brand ambition and constraints
  • Manage the all the different workstreams of the project and coordinate the different internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, IT, agencies, Logistics, Finance, etc.) for the tech workstreams (UX/UI and development) as well as the non-tech workstreams (product assortment strategy, packaging, consumer service, etc.)

Business and Merchandising

  • Define assortment strategy and animation calendar across categories in coordination with the fashion and beauty teams
  • Define content needs, coordinate content creation and copywritting
  • Manage merchandisers to ensure a timely publication of the content



  • Work closely with the other teams to define our CRM roadmap across categories and audience
  • Execution of the CRM strategy, contributing to the continues improvement of our customer life cycle
  • Ideate, implement, optimize (A/B test) and measure engaging CRM campaigns for fashion and beauty, ensuring the best user experience
  • Preparing reports and analyzing targeted email marketing campaigns to get new insights and increase customer engagement, improve conversion and retention



  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in building from the ground up, running and managing the P/L of the ecommerce site of fashion brands
  • You work with a high degree of autonomy, are very rigorous, structured and dynamic
  • You have exceptional project management skills, managing complexity and defining clear priorities with the ability to meet consistently deadlines and coordinate efficiently the multiple teams involved in the project
  • You have a very collaborative personality and strong communication skills, fostering the engagement of the different stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, resilient and flexible, you adapt easily to the different constraints of delivering a technical project in a complex global organization. You react with agility to identify the optimal solutions to each challenge
  • You are passionate about the digital innovations and the evolution of the digital landscape as well as about the fashion and beauty industry
  • You are able to provide creative feedback on design to meet the brand aesthetic standards as well as recommendations on cutting-edge functionalities to create a best-in-class shopper experience


Specific Knowledge

  • You are comfortable using Shopify+ and Project Management tools (e.g. Asana)
  • Mastery of the Office Pack
