Scope :
Department Stores De Bijenkorf (stand Amsterdam / Rotterdam / The Hague) for the Byredo, Penhaligon's, Dries Van Noten and L'Artisan Parfumeur brands.
Ce que vous aurez à faire
Mission :
Reporting to the Retail Director, the Retail Manager is responsible for the sales performance, profitability, teams and customer service excellence of his/her area (Sell-out sales development, recruitment, management, training and development/evolution of all teams).
He/she will also be responsible for optimizing the P&L profitability of the zone, in conjunction with the Retail Director.
Main responsibilities :
• Operational Excellence: You are the first ambassador of our brands (internal & external audience) and must ensure that our Selling Ceremony & guidelines are respected by all sales teams (customer experience, merchandising & operational processes).
• Puig Team Management : You will manage a team in the field which you will have to engage, lead and develop. As such, you will be responsible for recruiting, motivating, training & coaching teams, instilling in them a culture of figures and Retail KPI's, and guiding them towards performance. As a Retail manager, you set individual and collective objectives, monitor them and encourage their achievement.
Working with Training and HR, you will propose and implement actions to develop Perfume Expertise and/or Make-up Expertise, sales ceremonial and inherent techniques, and draw up personal development plans to develop talent and enhance skills. Finally, you will ensure that schedules are optimized, in conjunction with the Stand Managers.
• Productivity and Profitability : You will be responsible for developing Sell-out sales and monitoring the performance of your sales doors. You will propose and obtain approval for sales targets per space (sales & KPI's) within the framework of national targets and make recommendations to constantly improve productivity per space (team, merchandising, sales tools, events plan (in conjunction with Niche KAM and Brand Managers). You will oversee forecasts, assortments and inventories for PUIG spaces.
• CRM Mission : Clienteling must be mastered. Customer loyalty, conquest and reactivation actions will be key to developing business. You will be responsible for monitoring the competition in the relevant department stores in the Netherlands.
• P&L / Rentability : You are responsible for monitoring and analysing store performance in order to achieve objectives and optimize sales, and for consolidating and communicating performance indicators to TOP management. You are also responsible for managing and optimizing allocated functional budgets (temporary staff, uniforms, cleaning, IT, operating costs, bagging, etc.). You ensure the profitability of your area, in conjunction with the Retail Director.
• Communication/ Inter-actions : you will be responsible for downstream communications (head office to POS) and upstream communications (POS to head office) and will be the key contact for international central services for Sell Through/ BA's.

Profile :
Education : Background from a business school or equivalent.
Experience : You have at least 3 years' significant experience, having held a Store / Area Manager position is a definite plus. Perfume and/or Make-up expertise is mandatory.
Skills: Dynamic and organized, you prefer participative management. A recognized leader, you have a good team spirit, are willing and open to change. You lead by example. As an ambassador for our brands, you are both results-oriented and customer-focused, working to develop our brands and teams. Team player, you encourage collaboration within the team members. You know how to make proposals for the implementation of processes and work methodologies. You are analytical and pragmatic. Previous experience with Microsoft Office software.
Languages : Dutch and English are essential. French is a plus.
Working hours : Tuesday to Saturday, 20% head office / 80% field. Prepared to work flexibly during store hours. Presence at point of sales to support your team in the field.
